- The name includes words like Mod, Pro unlocked, Premium, Cracked, No ads or a fake version number that does not exist (for example "CapCut Pro 21.8.0" when the latest official version is 19.8.0).
- The file size is far smaller or larger than the official size (~114 MB).
- The site forces you through several "download" pages, pop-ups or surveys.
- Android shows "App not installed" when you try to install it over the official CapCut — the signature does not match (how to fix it).
